Sebastian Krakowski, Assistant Professor
House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics
I have an educational background in economics and management, and focus my research on the interplay of digital technology and organizational strategy, particularly the wide array of technologies collectively referred to as artificial intelligence (AI). My work explores the organizational and behavioral implications of the adoption and use of AI, including machine learning (predictive AI) and generative AI (GenAI).
I enjoy teaching and sharing research-based insights with audiences in undergraduate, graduate, and executive contexts. My research has been published in journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Research, and Strategic Management Journal and I was featured in the Thinkers50 Radar List 2025.
I have been a visiting researcher at Warwick Business School and am affiliated with Stanford University and The Institute for Futures Studies.
You are welcome to reach out regarding AI research collaborations—particularly experimental studies on AI adoption and implementation for evidence-based AI strategy—as well as education opportunities in AI strategy and human capital development. In addition to leading the SSE Executive Education program AI for Business Leaders, we can offer customized workshops and training sessions based on leading research that is tailored to specific organizational needs.
